Egypt: 3 Days 2 Nights – Package: 01

ARRIVAL - EGYPTIAN MUSEUM & OLD CARIO

 

Upon arrival at Cairo airport, our representative will be waiting for you with a sign of Ramesside. You will then be transferred by an A/C car to enjoy a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period.

 

The museum displays a rare collection of 5,000 years of art, which is considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 overwhelming artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen’s collection of treasure, gold, and jewelry, which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s during the excavation of his tomb.

 

Afterward, proceed to visit the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque and the Citadel of Salah El Din. Head to Old Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Abu Sriga Church, and Synagogue. Then return to your hotel.

 

Note: If you are unable to take the tour on that day due to a late arrival time, you can make it on the last day before your departure flight.

 

(Optional) In the evening, you can take a trip to enjoy dinner on board a Nile cruise for 2 hours, including watching Egyptian folk shows overnight in Cario.

GIZA PYRAMIDS, SAKKARA & MEMPHIS

 

Breakfast: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to enjoy an excursion to the Pyramids of Cheops, Cephren, and Mykerinus. Then, proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates back to the time of Cephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Cephren.

 

Next, move on to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser.

 

Afterward, transfer to Memphis, which was founded by King Menes and was the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years, serving as the first capital of Egypt. Don’t forget to see the Statue of Ramses II.

 

(Optional) In the evening, you have the option to attend the Sound & Light show in the Pyramids area. Overnight in Cairo.

ARRIVAL - CARIO TOUR

 

Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, you will find our representative waiting for you with the sign of Ramesside Tours. You will then be transferred by an A/C car to visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. On display is a rare collection of 5000 years of art, making it the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world.

 

Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry. These items were enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before their discovery in the 1920s during the excavation of his tomb.

 

Next, you will visit the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Cephren & My kerions. Cheops is the most colossal pyramid ever built. You will also have a close-up look at the Sphinx, a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of King Cephren. At the end of the day, we will transfer you to the hotel.

ALEXANDRIA TOUR

 

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will travel to Alexandria. The tour will begin with a visit to the Library of Alexandria, which is the biggest library in the world, housing 8 million books. You will also have the opportunity to explore its open court.

 

Next, you will visit the Site of the Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, where the castle of Qaitbey now stands.

 

Explore the royal gardens of King Farouk, the last king in the history of Egypt, and see the royal palaces of Haremlik and Selamlik, as well as the royal beaches of the queens. Continuing the tour, you will visit the Abbo Alabbas Mosque, the prettiest and biggest mosque in the city, as well as the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great.

 

You will have the option to stop for lunch (optional) before visiting the Church of St. Mark, the oldest church in Africa. Then, you will drive along the Cornish for 30 km to admire the panoramic view of Alexandria from the seaside, including the old harbor with 7,000 underwater monuments.

 

Make a stop at the famous Stanley Bridge, a modern landmark of Alexandria, before exploring the old downtown of Alexandria and walking through the old city-center built by Alexander the Great. Afterward, you will travel back to your hotel in comfort.

LUXOR DAY TOUR BY FLIGHT

 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the domestic airport to catch your flight to Luxor. Our representative will meet you there, and your full-day tour of the West Bank will begin. You will visit the Valley of the Kings, Deir El Bahari Temple, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This excursion will take you to the Necropolis of Thebes on the Western bank of the Nile. You will cross the Nile and drive to the Valley of the Kings, where you will explore the tombs of various dynasties and visit the Temple of Deir El Bahari.

 

On the return journey, you will make a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, which are two gigantic sitting statues representing Amenophis III, facing the Nile. Afterward, you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

 

Next, you will visit the East Bank, where you will explore Karnak and Luxor Temple. Your excursion will start at the Luxor Temple, where you will see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great. From there, you will proceed by carriage or bus to Karnak, a series of temples built during different reigns.

 

You will begin your visit with the Avenue of Sphinxes and continue to explore the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutmosis III, the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III, and the Sacred Lake.

 

Afterward, you will be transferred to the domestic airport to catch your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
